Aswell as basic League rules - site wide, we should have specific individual league format and rules.

10v10 League Rules & Format

League Format

Welcome to your Virtual Professional League - The VP Premeiership! You are about to embark on the most exciting form of Virtual Football to date in Fifa 10!

League consisting of XX Teams

1 League game per week (Choice of a couple of different Days Times, Managers and players will know that they must be available to play at these fixed schedule times/days before signing up, just like real football - Suggestions Welcome??)

Managers should arrange there games on the website where a log will be kept for proof, failure to arrange and play will result in a 3-0 loss, and a warning (Yellow Card?) a second failure will result in being sacked from your team (Red Card?).

Teams must not play with any player that is not registered on the website and signed up to the team, If it happens there will be an investigation and the score may be overturned to a default 3-0 loss.

Match Format

10 mins per half
All positions must be filled
Maximum Squad size 20

All Players must use their created Virtual Pro.

Results submission

Both Managers must submit the following information straight after the final whistle on the website...

1. The Result
2. The Team sheet
3. Goalscorers
4. Assists
5. Yellows and Reds

Transfers

Each team will be able to make 3 transfers within a season. Transfers have to be confirmed by both captains and the player involved by way of a PM on the site to your League Moderator.

Lag/Bad connections

Lag and Bad connections are an unfortunate part of the Fifa EA servers, so we need to be fair to all. If for any reason someone lags out or has a bad connection in the first 15 mins of each half the captains need to agree whether to continue or start the half again. If its in the first half you can start the whole game again from the current score, if its in the second half then you may play one half from the current score.

If anyone lags out after 15 mins then you should continue to the end of the half. If it’s the first half then both captains should agree to start again and play one half from the current score. If its in the second half then you must play to the end of the game.

You must pause the game as soon as possible if you need to speak to the other captain regarding lag. if you lose a player whilst the other team have possession and they score, then unfortunately the goal will have to stand, it works both ways!

If any players are known to have lag or bad connections regularly then as a captain you have to decide whether or not to play them in the first place.

Please comment on this so we can add/amend....

Cheers Kel - Gr00vy
